Solution Sales Manager, Converting

Valmet is market leader in Pulp & Paper Automation solutions and has been successfully selling Valmet Automation solutions to Corrugators, Self-adhesive laminators, Barrier & Extrusion coaters, non-woven and molded fibers.
To enhance our Automation Systems’ growth towards these industries, we are looking for an experienced Solution Sales Manager.
As a Solution Sales Manager you are the key player to build on the existing references and develop our sales in these industries further. This position is for Central, South, East European countries. Valmet operates multiple Sales offices in this region, and we accept home-office contracts.
As a sales Manager you will have direct sales responsibility for your customers, supported by local Sales and Service teams. You will develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to target and acquire customers within the focus industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective customers and corporates to reach the sales targets.
Utilize thorough market research to identify emerging business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends and competitive activities.
Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch technical support and customized solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.
Provide regular reports on sales activities, and to bring market insights and customer feedback to our product group and R&D in order to develop our industry specific winning concepts further.
To be successful in this position, you will need:
Extensive background and proven experience in at least one of these industries Corrugators, Self-adhesive laminators, Barrier & Extrusion coaters.
Strong sales mindset and ability to work with customers on many levels.
Seasoned in working within a matrix organization, displaying exceptional adaptability and the capability to excel in an independent sales role.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent command of the English language (both spoken and written) being indispensable.
Additional language skills for the countries in the designated territory is an advantage.
Willingness to travel within the designated territory, with occasional support provided to other areas as required.
