Job Description

As a Mandarin Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts for physicians
  • Ensuring medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation
  • Updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient's medical record
  • Preparing and sending all documentation to physicians for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures
  • Monitoring the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures
  • Complying with hospital and medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission
  • Performing other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned
  • Demonstrating understanding necessary to assess, review, and apply criteria

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a customer service or healthcare-related role (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanor
  • A dedicated workspace at home with a desktop/laptop, webcam, noise-cancelling headset, and a stable internet connection (at least 30mbps)
