About the Role

As a Benefit Claim Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Processing and resolving insurance claims in a timely and efficient manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, agents, and internal teams
  • Reviewing and analyzing insurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve claims and provide customer service
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of claims and customer interactions
  • Staying up-to-date on industry developments and changes in insurance policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:

Essential Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in insurance claims processing or a related field

  • Strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. business, finance, insurance)

  • Certification in insurance claims processing or a related field (e.g. CPCU, CIC)
