Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assessing all orders for insurance approval and processing accordingly, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted.
• Scanning prescriber information into our documentation system, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
• Establishing patient records for prescriptions, ensuring that all necessary information is included and verified.
• Providing necessary phone support, including both inbound and outbound calls, to ensure seamless communication with customers and healthcare professionals.

Required Skills

• Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing and processing orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Proficient ability to read and interpret prescriptions accurately, with a strong understanding of pharmacy terminology and procedures.

Qualifications

• Attendance consistency is required for the first 90 days of employment, with a strong commitment to maintaining a regular and reliable work schedule.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a pharmacy data intake or similar role, with a strong understanding of pharmacy procedures and terminology.
• An active Pharmacy Technician License with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is essential, with a strong commitment to maintaining licensure and adhering to industry standards.
