Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry/Specimen Processor to join our Accessioning team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for receiving and processing laboratory specimens and requisitions, as well as entering data into our database. Key Responsibilities

* Receive and process laboratory specimens and requisitions in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment

• Enter requisitions data into our database, label, centrifuge, and aliquot all specimens
• Assist in training lab assistant staff to ensure seamless workflow and high-quality results
• Act in the best interest of patient care and arenaflex, adhering to our core values and principles
• Lead duties as assigned by Supervisor, demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach to achieving team goals

Job Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent required; some college science helpful

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment, with a focus on data entry and specimen processing
• Experience working in the Accessioning department preferred, but not required
• Ability to work a Monday-Thursday schedule, with hours from 8pm-6:30a

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and patients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume laboratory environment, with a focus on data entry and specimen processing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting, with a focus on accessioning and data entry

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and electronic health records (EHRs)
• Certification in a related field, such as medical laboratory technology (MLT) or clinical laboratory science (CLS)
