About the Role:

As a Data Protection & Privacy Analyst at arenaflex, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company's data protection and privacy policies and procedures are implemented and maintained effectively. This will involve working closely with various stakeholders across the organization to identify and mitigate potential data protection and privacy risks, and to develop and implement solutions to address these risks. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to employees on data protection and privacy best practices, and for ensuring that our company's data protection and privacy policies and procedures are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain highly scaling technology solutions that drive innovation and excellence in the aviation industry

  • Identify and mitigate potential data protection and privacy risks, and develop and implement solutions to address these risks
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on data protection and privacy best practices
  • Ensure that our company's data protection and privacy policies and procedures are compliant with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to identify and address data protection and privacy risks
  • Develop and implement data protection and privacy training programs for employees
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure that our company's data protection and privacy policies and procedures are effective and compliant

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in a STEM-associated field
  • Strong understanding of data protection and privacy requirements and policies, local, domestic, and worldwide
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment to strict deadlines, with the potential to handle multiple tasks concurrently
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

* CISA certification

  • Security + certification
  • Knowledge of computer networking principles and protocols, and network security
  • Knowledge of safety engineering and architecture principles
  • Knowledge of cryptography and cryptographic key control principles
  • Ability to interpret styles of noncompliance to determine their effect on levels of risk and/or average effectiveness of the company's cybersecurity program
  • Hands-on experience with data protection and privacy vendors, tools, and product capabilities
