About the Role

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in connecting our members with the care and resources they need. You'll be responsible for scheduling in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners, answering inbound calls from members, and ensuring that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolved any scheduling issues or concerns. This is a high-volume, customer service environment that requires efficiency, productivity, and thoroughness when dealing with our members over the phone. You'll also need to be flexible and work a schedule that includes evening hours.

Job Details

* Full-time: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday

  • Flexible Schedule: Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 AM-5:30 PM local time
  • Overtime: May be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends
  • Training: 8 weeks of paid training, conducted virtually from your home
  • Remote Work: Ability to work remotely from your home, with flexibility to work in EST or CST time zones

Primary Responsibilities

* Schedule in-home visits with physicians or nurse practitioners

  • Answer inbound calls from members and assist them with their inquiries
  • Ensure that appointments are scheduled accurately and resolve any scheduling issues or concerns

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1 year of work experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook (create/edit/save/send documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
  • Ability to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00 AM-5:30 PM local time from Monday-Friday

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in the healthcare industry

  • Experience working with Medicaid or Medicare
  • Experience working in a customer retention-focused role

Telecommuting Requirements

* Reside within the Eastern or Central Time Zone

  • Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
  • Ability to connect directly into internet via hard wire (either directly to modem or router)

Soft Skills

* Ability to type and talk at the same time while navigating through multiple screens

  • Experience working in a metric-driven work environment
  • Experience using an auto-dialer system

Compensation and Benefits

* Hourly range: $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment
