Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant & Data Entry Clerk to join our team, working remotely from home. As an Administrative Assistant & Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for providing administrative support, data entry, and customer service to our clients and partners. This is an entry-level position that requires good typing skills, attention to detail, and motivation. If you have a can-do attitude, possess a strong knowledge of Excel, and the ability to learn what you do not already know, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct web-based research as needed, such as Google searches, to gather information and data

  • Use Word or Open Office (a free download) to input all data or Google Docs as directed
  • Handle customer's bill processing and other administrative tasks as required
  • Collect and recycle outdated telephone books or other publications and distribute new publications, when/where applicable
  • Retrieve, sort, assemble, and maintain files
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Write reports, proposals, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals and objectives

Requirements

* 2-year AA in a related field or 3-5 years relevant customer service/business experience

  • Administrative support experience
  • Ability to work with CRM and ERP software (NetSuite and SalesForce, or similar)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel and Word, PowerPoint preferred)
  • Ability to handle and solve customer issues correctly and timely
  • Team orientation and collaborative work style
  • Outstanding Communication skills
  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with data entry and CRM/ERP software

  • Sales skills and experience
  • Knowledge of Google Docs and other cloud-based applications
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
