Job Summary

As a Behavioral Health Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing advocate care to assist members with their health needs. Your primary goal will be to ensure that members understand their benefits and claims, while also building trusting relationships with them. You will work closely with our team to review member claim history for accuracy, explain member rights and responsibilities, and perform financial data maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Engage with members to understand their health needs and provide personalized support

  • Review member claim history for accuracy and ensure that all necessary information is up-to-date
  • Explain member rights and responsibilities, including benefits and claims procedures
  • Build trusting relationships with members through active listening and empathetic communication
  • Perform financial data maintenance, including updating member records and processing claims
  • Collaborate with our team to resolve member issues and concerns
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and arenaflex policies and procedures

Requirements:

* 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center atmosphere

  • Experience in behavioral health or a related field is preferred, but not required
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with members
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
