Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Making outbound calls to patients, members, and customers to schedule appointments for preventative health screenings, assess for high-risk or other healthcare appointments
  • Providing welcome calls and assisting members and patients with benefits and insurance information
  • Conducting surveys to gather valuable insights and feedback
  • Demonstrating a passion for helping patients make decisions that enhance their healthcare experience
  • Working collaboratively with patients, patient representatives, providers, pharmacies, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • Strong computer experience, including data entry, screen navigation, and keyboarding
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook (email) and Word
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care
  • Ability to adhere to daily schedules and duties
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate caring and compassion in all interactions
