Program Overview

Our Remote Customer Support Specialist program is a 14-week initiative that runs from January 13th, 2025, to April 15th, 2025. As a Service Provider (SP), you'll have the opportunity to work with our clients, providing top-notch support and ensuring their satisfaction. We're looking for individuals who can commit to working all 14 weeks of the program, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer support via phone, chat, and email
  • Resolving complex issues and escalating concerns to senior support specialists
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues
  • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of our products and services
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Participating in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Meeting service level and contact per hour commitments
  • Working a minimum of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work extra shifts as needed

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle change well
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of tax laws and tax concepts (preferable)
  • Experience providing support in a call center environment (preferable)

Preferred Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with:

  • Experience working with software troubleshooting and technical support
  • Familiarity with tax preparation software and services
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to diffuse situations with angry customers
  • Ability to work in a training environment that includes watching self-paced training module videos
  • Willingness to step-in as needed, including answering questions from customers via chat
  • Ability to adhere to work schedules and flexibility to work extra shifts when needed
