Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Studio Exploration and Examination group. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting Disney Item, Showcasing and Content Curation and In-Home Promoting and Circulation gatherings. Your primary responsibilities will include investigating and organizing data, providing support for quantitative and subjective research drives, and collaborating with different groups to drive research at Disney.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with a wide range of subjective and quantitative analysis exercises, including data collection and preparation, data extraction and analysis, and report creation.

• Join disparate data sources using SQL to support the daily activities of the Disney client experience following project.
• Collaborate with different groups to conduct research at Disney, including conveying project objectives, business requirements, and timelines to efficiently focus on, advance, and enhance our datasets.
• Build and maintain relationships with research partners within the group and from different divisions of the organization as well as external vendors.
• Analyze and prepare ongoing and impromptu reports involving quantitative and subjective data for different groups within the item marketing, engagement, and product strategy of Disney and the Disney Streaming Pack.
• Manage allocated projects, execute quality assurance cycles, and report tasks and status to supervisor(s) to ensure completion within established timelines.
• Work with the Sr. Administrator and team to ensure that each outcome is decisively meaningful and drives key independent direction.
• Collaborate with the team and research groups within Snowflake and Databricks.
• Maintain both exceptional verbal and written knowledge of data components and requirements.
• Answer basic data requests from internal clients.
• Support the presentation of findings based on research conducted and contribute to related business discussions.

Essential Capabilities

* Proficiency with SQL, with the ability to extract and join disparate data sources

• Ability to extract data and join with different data sources to develop a rich, comprehensive picture for the business
• Strong quantitative thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-speed environment
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to create clear and concise visual presentations
• Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to work effectively in a climate of tight timelines and continuous change

Favored Capabilities

* Proficiency in data handling tools (e.g., SPSS, Q, MarketSight)

• Experience with survey tools (e.g., Translate, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey)
• Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies, ideally cloud-based, like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
• Knowledge of R, Python, SAS, STATA, or similar programming languages
• Postgraduate education in Statistical Research or Measurement
• Quantitative analysis background, either provider-side or client-side
• Experience with analyzing survey data to extract significant insights
• Experience with membership-based plans of action and procedure
