Job Overview

As a Data Entry Support Specialist – GIS and Data-Driven Decision Making, you will play a critical role in managing the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, producing maps, and contributing to innovative GIS projects. You will collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions, leveraging your expertise in Esri software, cartographic design, and geospatial analysis. Key Responsibilities

* Manage the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, producing maps and contributing to innovative GIS projects

• Collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date GIS data and maps
• Analyze and interpret geospatial data to inform decision-making
• Design and implement effective data visualization strategies
• Provide technical support and training to staff on GIS software and tools

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or related field

• 2 years of relevant experience in GIS and data analysis
