(Senior) Data Engineer (all genders)
- Supporting the development of reliable data platforms and architectures in agile customer projects
- Collaborating on the design and implementation of data solutions, both on-premise and in the cloud – with guidance from experienced colleagues.
- Assisting in building data pipelines and transforming data to support business needs and processes.
- Contributing to the integration of data from various systems to ensure consistency and accessibility.
- Working closely with Software Engineers and Cloud Architects in Germany as part of cross-functional teams.
- Practical experience and strong interest in Data Engineering and working with modern data architectures.
- Awareness of the importance of data quality and a willingness to learn about Data Strategy and Data Governance.
- Hands-on skills in Python, data pipelines (ETL/ELT), data modeling, and working with SQL/NoSQL databases or data warehouses.
- Basic understanding or first-hand experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and basic DevOps concepts – curiosity and motivation to deepen this knowledge are key.
- Interest in working with SaaS data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
- Experience with data ingestion from various sources (APIs, databases) and ensuring data quality
- Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, e.g. to present your work, explain technical topics, and engage with clients
- Very good English and Portuguese language skills (C1); German is a plus but not required.
