What's in Store
We are looking for an experienced Client Accounting Coordinator who will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions for DCS clients in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or related financial areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare financial related information for clients such as monthly financial statements and other reports as needed or requested by clients
- Assist Accounting Supervisor as needed with preparation of Corporate financial statements.
- Work with client’s financial auditors
- Present financial statements at client board meetings
- Data entry of Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable transactions, including, but not limited to, invoices, cash receipts, or vouchers
- Review work prepared by Accounting Coordinators
- Train and mentor Accounting Coordinators
- Manage Access and Excel databases and analyze data
- Other duties as assigned
Skills, knowledge & expertise
- 3-5 years’ experience working in accounting and supervision
- Preferred; college degree in accounting and/or CPA
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Excellent customer service and supervisory skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Good computer skills with the ability to learn new software quickly
- Advanced in Excel, Word and other software programs as needed (may require taking outside classes if necessary)
- Must have the ability to handle confidential information
