Entry Level - Structural Bridge Designer

KPFF Consulting Engineers is an engineering design firm that has been dedicated to innovative, sustainable engineering for over 60 years. They are seeking an Entry Level Structural Bridge Designer to work on various infrastructure projects, focusing on structural design and project management while fostering a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Work for a variety of public and private clients on all types of projects through planning, design, permitting and construction
• Focus on structural design on infrastructure projects, including bridges, waterfront infrastructure, and other horizontal construction projects
• Collaborate with team members across all layers of the organization, from interns to Principals
• Participate in social events, educational programs, and technical training
• Drive professional growth, learning, and teaching opportunities

Skills

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (with a structural emphasis)
• EIT is required
• Concrete, steel, and timber coursework and /or design experience
• Pre-stressed concrete and seismic coursework and/or design experience
• Familiarity with non-linear analysis
• Ability to work dynamically with clients and project team members
• M.S in Civil Engineering preferred (with a structural emphasis)
