Key Responsibilities

As a Part-Time Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

• Welcoming and assisting customers with their travel needs, including ticketing, baggage registration, and other related services
• Utilizing computer systems to sell, print, and reissue tickets, as well as manage the registration process
• Ensuring customers have the necessary documentation for travel, including passports, visas, and other required documents
• Labeling baggage and performing lifting tasks, including moving items from scales to transport lines
• Practicing security-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and system
• Working with customers to resolve issues related to seat availability, gate announcements, and loading processes
• Operating airport equipment, including loading and unloading aircraft, and opening and closing aircraft doors
• Maintaining a high level of security awareness and adhering to all safety protocols
• Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborating with other team members to ensure seamless customer experiences and efficient operations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Familiarity with Spanish, both written and spoken, is an asset
• Ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use proper punctuation, tone, and articulation
• Ability to work a fixed or rotating schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of security awareness and adhering to all safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service, data entry, or a related field

• Familiarity with airline operations and customer service procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
