As a Remote Chat & Text Therapist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of services to clients, coordinating day-to-day operations of the program, and recommending and implementing changes that would improve the delivery of services. You will provide direct service counseling, ongoing counseling, prevention services, and education services to adults, families, and youth, while also supervising remote clinical staff.

Schedule:

Full-time schedule options available (Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm or Sunday-Wednesday 6:00am-4:00pm)

Key Responsibilities

* Answer all chats & texts in a timely and professional manner while meeting agency goals

  • Effectively assess clinical situations and needs of all chatters
  • Provide quality assurance of the program's service delivery
  • Complete clinical documentation thoroughly, clearly, and accurately, including information critical to data collection and reporting to funders
  • Monitor call-in times for clients placed on a 72-Hour Suicide Watch or Safety Follow-Up
  • Attend all required meetings and training courses, even if they fall outside of the regularly scheduled shift
  • Comply with and assure compliance by staff with the agency's standard of care for service delivery
  • Ensure quality service delivery including clinical care and all associated documentation
  • Maintain all client records in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Take an active role in ad hoc committees and work groups as assigned by the Manager or Director of Programs
  • Provide instruction and training for interns and staff
  • Adhere to the agency's policies and procedures and assure that staff is in compliance
  • Maintain professional conduct consistent with ethical professional practice and the policies and procedures of the agency

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field
  • Crisis Experience preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Program Development preferred

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field

  • Advanced training in crisis intervention and suicide prevention
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including youth, adults, and families

Work Environment and Culture

* The typical work environment will be at an arenaflex office, working indoors

  • Employees must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
