Job Description:
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Data Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex data pipelines that integrate with various data sources, including cloud-based platforms. Your expertise in cloud-based technologies, data engineering, and software development will enable you to drive business growth and success through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain complex data pipelines that integrate with various data sources, including cloud-based platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Business Stakeholders, to understand data requirements and develop data solutions
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Wind current, Databricks, and other cloud-based technologies
- Design and implement data set mapping, tables, and perspectives using Wind current and other data engineering tools
- Develop and maintain data quality and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Participate in driving best practices around data engineering software development processes
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and success
Essential Qualifications:
* 2+ years of experience with SQL and cloud-based technologies, ideally AWS and S3
- 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
- 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets
- Experience with Apache Wind current, Databricks, and other cloud-based data engineering tools
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages
- Experience with Gitlab, Docker, and other DevOps tools
Preferred Qualifications:
* Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in streaming, media, or digital marketing industries
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality processes
- Experience with Snowflake, Looker, and other cloud-based data analytics tools
Skills and Competencies:
* Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including data lakes, data warehouses, and application data sets
- Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, S3, and other cloud-based platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and other relevant languages
- Experience with Gitlab, Docker, and other DevOps tools
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality processes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
