About the Role

As a Remote Data Entry Operator / Typing Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in supporting our operations by accurately and efficiently managing data across various systems. You'll work closely with our team to ensure seamless data entry, maintenance, and analysis, enabling us to better serve our customers and inform our donors. This part-time position (20 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 4 hours/day) offers a competitive salary of $18.00/hour and the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art, comfortable remote office environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Data Entry Operator / Typing Specialist, your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Data Entry: Enter clients' personal data, services, and other relevant information into various databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Database Navigation: Search databases as needed to retrieve and update information.
  • Intake Form Review: Review intake forms for completeness and update data systems with changes.
  • System Evaluation and Implementation: Collaborate with the Healthcare Admin Jobs Data and Compliance Coordinator to evaluate and implement systems.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management, including but not limited to, data analysis, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Language Skills: Read and comprehend basic instructions and present information to others.
  • Mathematical/Money Handling Skills: Basic counting skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of simple numbers.
  • Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Computer Skills: Display competency in typing (55 wpm) and data entry (10 keystrokes per minute).
  • Specialized Office Equipment: Operate/program fax machines, copy machines, and scanners.
  • Computer Software and Operating Systems: Utilize computer spreadsheet (Excel) to input, format, and edit data and save, print, or transmit data.
  • Proprietary Software: Familiarity with Case Worthy, CDS, and other proprietary software.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience: Previous experience in data entry, administration, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Office or data entry certifications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
