Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web and cloud-based applications. You'll work closely with our Data and Analytics team to provide vital insights and support our business operations. This is a remote position, and you'll have the flexibility to work from home while being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist with the implementation and maintenance of our internal Data and Analytics reporting processes

• Research and stay up-to-date with evolving data requirements, ensuring necessary system and process adjustments are made to meet these needs
• Identify potential process enhancements and propose implementation strategies
• Develop and present data-related topics, including reporting and analytics
• Analyze the need for new systems or upgrades to existing software to meet business needs and make recommendations
• Recommend solutions that adhere to company standards, considering the impact on upstream and downstream systems and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and user acceptance testing
• Work on various data-related tasks as assigned

Requirements

* 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or equivalent experience

• Experience with Tableau or other visualization tools, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling
• Strong experience with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, and Vertica. NoSQL databases experience is a plus
• Experience with user-defined workflows (e.g., Airflow)
• Experience with writing Kafka clients and producers
• Experience with Apache Spark Streaming and Hive is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach problems in new and innovative ways
• Working knowledge of data management software like Airflow or other ETL tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective solutions
