Key Responsibilities

As a Phone and Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, providing prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries
  • Following established communication scripts to ensure consistency and quality in customer interactions
  • Identifying customers' needs, clarifying information, researching, and providing solutions and alternatives to meet their needs
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle customer inquiries and requests
  • Performing data entry and customer service tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Navigating online resources efficiently to access information and complete tasks
  • Working with requests and records received from customers requesting to sign up for shifts
  • Verifying customers' credentials and identifying any necessary follow-up actions
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to cross-train as needed
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance, with a strong commitment to meeting scheduled work hours
  • Providing positive and professional customer interactions, with a focus on building strong relationships with our clients

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience, with a strong background in call center or office environments
  • Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online resources
  • Previous remote work experience is a plus, but not required
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check that meets state and federal laws is required
  • The ability to type 35 words per minute accurately, with strong data entry skills
  • A strong commitment to meeting scheduled work hours and maintaining punctuality and attendance

Pay and Benefits

As a Phone and Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you can expect:

  • Starting pay of $14/hour, with shift differential and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance
  • Work hours between 7:00am-7:00pm (CST), with rotating weekends and a 40-hour workweek
  • Paid training of 3 weeks in length, from 8:00am-5:00pm (CST), Monday-Friday
  • Full-time status with 40 hours of work per week
  • Equipment provided, including a laptop or desktop, USB headset, and other necessary tools
  • A competitive salary and benefits package, with opportunities for growth and advancement

Hardware and Software Requirements

To ensure success in this role, you'll need:

  • A processor of Intel Core i5 5200 Series or greater
  • 8GB of memory on Windows 8.1/10 64-bit
  • A screen resolution of 1280x768 or higher, with dual monitors required
  • A USB headset and up-to-date antivirus software
  • A recent scan completed and firewall enabled
  • A laptop or desktop computer, with no Chromebooks, netbooks, or tablets allowed
