Overview:

As an Experienced Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by explaining policy coverage, claim status, and assisting with claim payments or other policy information to policyholders and/or interested third parties via inbound calls (no sales). You'll work in a high-volume call center environment, handling anywhere from 70-120 calls on a daily basis. Your primary focus will be on first contact resolution and high customer satisfaction while maintaining adherence to defined operational standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Call Center Environment:

Handle high call volumes, ensuring prompt and professional service to policyholders, providers, and interested third parties.

Heavy Phone Contact:

Engage in frequent phone interactions with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties.

Procedure Review and Maintenance:

Stay up-to-date on new and revised procedures regarding policy information.

Customer Needs:

Ensure customer needs are met on every interaction, including phone, email, and written correspondence.

Department Standards:

Maintain department standards for the number of calls, average handle, and time management.

Requirements:

1+ Years of Work Experience:

In a high-volume contact center environment, with additional experience in a receptionist role or a role where you commonly took calls on a daily basis (Strict Requirement).

Age:

18 years or older.

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Remote Experience:

Strongly preferred but not required.

Reliable Internet Connection:

Must meet a minimum of 20 UPLOAD & 20 DOWNLOAD internet speed and be a hard-wired connection.

Smartphone:

Must have a smartphone to access VPN.

Insurance Industry Experience:

Considered a plus but not a requirement.

Quiet & Professional Workplace:

Must have a quiet and professional workspace.

Basic Computer Knowledge/Skills:

Proficient in basic computer functions, keyboard functions, and Microsoft Office.

Excellent Oral and Written Communication:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Minimum Typing Requirement:

30 wpm.

Ability to Multi-Task:

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to Work Under Pressure:

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent Organization and Time Management Skills:

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Not including Houston, TX, Miami, FL, New York, California, Hawaii, Washington, Washington D.C., New Jersey, Vermont, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Maine, and Wyoming.

Training:

Duration:

2-3 weeks long.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm CST.

Availability:

Must be available to work Monday-Friday, between 7:30 am - 6:30 pm CST.

Schedule Post-Training:

40-Hour Work Week:

Candidates will be assigned to a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday.

No Weekend Shifts:

Unless overtime is presented on the weekend.
