Experienced Customer Service Specialist – Remote Opportunity to Deliver Exceptional Patient Experience

The Opportunity:

As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional patient experiences by providing timely and effective resolution to customer inquiries, concerns, and issues. You'll be the face of our organization, and your interactions will shape the perception of our brand. We're looking for a highly skilled and empathetic individual who can navigate complex situations with ease and provide solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answer patient questions regarding statements, posting guarantor payments, and setting up payment plans within our policies

  • Research and resolve issues with accounts that have been identified by patients
  • Reach out to appropriate departments to resolve any requests made by patients
  • Connect patients with financial counseling department for charity screening
  • Communicate patient balances and meet collection goals as set by department
  • Provide excellent customer service for all of our patients
  • Collaborate with other areas of arenaflex and Revenue Cycle to resolve customer service issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in the healthcare industry

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ensemble Associate to obtain CRCR certification within 9 months of hire (employer-funded)
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations

  • Customer Service and Call Center experience
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle management and patient financial services

Skills and Competencies:

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-resolution skills
  • Ability to navigate complex situations with ease and provide solutions that exceed customer expectations
