Job title: Expert Fitness Instructor - Pilates Instructor Company: Anderson Sport and Wellness Job description: Job Overview: We are looking for an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Fitness Instructor, ideally, Pilates certified. This is an hourly or contract position great for candidates looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization. The schedule is very flexible. Instructors may teach virtually, in-clinic, or hybrid (dep on preference and arrangements made in contract). Class size varies but can be as large as 10 participants (with 5 in the clinic and 5 online or some variation of that). Fitness instructors are expected to be warm and welcoming to all clients. Some clients are transitioning from physical therapy to fitness classes or are currently in physical therapy and will need modifications to exercises. Experience teaching the MELT method and Pilates or willingness to learn is preferred. We provide premier fitness and wellness services as well as physical therapy. On the physical therapy side, we provide a one-on-one environment, with the use of specialized manual therapy, high-end tech, exercise techniques, and nutritional consultation tailored to the individual's needs. We specialize in helping people with chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, and return to sport. Our culture is client-centered and oriented toward maximizing health with a multi-disciplinary approach. In the fitness realm, we offer MELT method and boot camp classes, Pilates reformer private sessions, massage, and workshops dedicated to learning meditation, self-healing strategies, and injury prevention. Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Instruct and demonstrate to members on the proper use of equipment and exercise techniques which may include operating equipment.
• Willingness to learn proprietary exercises.
• Provide a high level of personalized attention to members. This includes personalized modifications for participants.
• Maintain knowledge and/or participation in all clinic services, programs and products.
• Regular and predictable attendance to instruct classes and private sessions.
• Provide each member and potential member with the best quality customer service.
• Classes are private and semi-private. Classes include: MELT Method, Balance & Mobility, Total Body Reboot, and Boost Athleticism Bootcamp. Management is open to offering other classes.
• Competent in Microsoft office, Zoom, and Google Drive

Compensation:

• $45-$65/hr

Experience:

• Group fitness (2+ years experience)
• Pilates Instruction (Preferred)
• MELT Method (Preferred)

License/Certifications:

• Current Pilates Certification (Preferred)
• MELT Method (Preferred)
• Personal Training (Required)
