- Manage day-to-day operations of Fred’s Pantry, including scheduling volunteers, food sourcing, inventory management, and distribution
- Track participant and volunteer data to identify emerging community needs
- Support planning and grant reporting
- Support and implement “one stop” capacity at Fred’s Pantry
- Support a mutual-aid food network
- Strengthening connections between Fred’s Pantry and the broader food sovereign eco-system, including Regeneration and other local farms, local growers, and community gardens
- Collaborate with community partners to support a community-based mutual aid food network
- Develop and coordinate partnerships that bring onsite services, advocacy, and resource navigation to pantry participants
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in social justice studies, social services, or a related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, dignity, and the mission of addressing housing and food insecurity
- Internship, volunteer, or work experience in a nonprofit setting
- Spanish/English bilingual
- Familiarity with social media platforms and email marketing tools
- Respect for people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences
- Trauma-informed, compassionate communication
- Strong sense of empathy, professionalism, and integrity
- Willingness to learn and grow in a mission driven environment
