Job description: We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team at a daycare center. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare.
Duties:
- Assist lead teacher in creating lesson plans and activities
- Lead physical education activities and games for children
- Assist with daily child tasks such as feeding, diapering, and nap time
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred
- Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong math skills and ability to tutor students in math concepts
- Passion for physical education and leading activities for children
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from lead teacher
- Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
