Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Research Team by conducting comprehensive business license research across various industries and jurisdictions. Your expertise will be invaluable in identifying, gathering, and analyzing licensing requirements and regulations that businesses must adhere to in different sectors and locations. Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting industry and location-specific research for our clients, identifying all federal, state, county, and city-level business licensing requirements
  • Creating business-specific research packages for timely delivery to clients
  • Identifying and compiling licensure specifications in both PDF and Excel formats, including forms, hyperlinks, supporting documents, exam requirements, prerequisites, turnaround times, fees, and renewal data
  • Communicating directly with government agencies to assist with business license research inquiries
  • Providing research in connection with internal support tasks for other BL team members

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Customer Relations: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Customer Support: Proven experience in providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on resolving issues and exceeding customer expectations
  • Research: Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and analyze complex data from various sources
  • Excel: Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets
  • Customer Orders/Sales: Experience in handling customer orders and sales, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications would be beneficial in this role:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, such as business, law, or a related discipline
  • Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or research role, with a focus on business licensing or a related field
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as a Certified Business License Specialist (CBL) or a Certified Research Professional (CRP)

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

  • Hourly Rate: $20-$21 per hour
  • Shift: First shift, 8 AM - 4 PM
