What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing advanced client support via phone, email, or chat, resolving complex issues and answering questions related to our DIY online and software tax products
  • Interpreting clients' needs, utilizing software solutions and troubleshooting skills to identify practical solutions
  • Utilizing software solutions, knowledge base, and computer systems to resolve and track user incidents
  • Identifying potential security issues and escalating them appropriately to business partners, including partnering with developers and other lines of business
  • Communicating clearly and calmly on the telephone, email, and chat, and using effective customer service techniques with clients who may be under stress
  • Demonstrating oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, and interacting with all levels of associates

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • General computer navigation knowledge
  • Ability to work from home with a secure and quiet workspace
  • Reliable wired internet connection with minimum upload and download speeds of 15MBps (Internet Speed Test required)
  • Smart phone and willingness to install an RSA token and Microsoft Teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in customer service or financial services position, preferably in a large phone center

  • Experience in an in-bound help desk environment
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office, general computer software troubleshooting, and/or networking connectivity problems
