Job Summary:

As a Retail Customer Relations Coordinator at arenaflex, you will be the face of our brand, interacting with customers, teammates, and management to drive sales, resolve issues, and create a memorable shopping experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers and proactively approaching them to understand their needs and support their shopping experience
  • Serving as the primary customer service provider at the front end and liaison between customers and management
  • Providing register coverage as needed and ensuring strong customer service standards are met by supporting cashiers through complex transactions
  • Upholding company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards

Essential Qualifications:

* 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in retail or a similar industry

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, teammates, and management in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a sports or outdoor industry

  • Knowledge of arenaflex products and services, or a passion for the sports industry
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other retail technology
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers and teammates in multiple languages
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
