Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling inbound telephone calls from customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Reviewing customer status and history, verifying information, and updating key details in our systems
  • Educating customers on current policies and procedures, and providing guidance on available self-servicing options
  • Preparing and submitting electronic support requests according to department standard procedures
  • Escalating complex issues to Tier 2 Subject Matter Experts when necessary
  • Assisting customers in navigating our website and available self-servicing options
  • Documenting actions taken and customer interactions in our systems

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2 years of experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a call center or customer service environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze issues and provide effective solutions
  • Proficiency in basic computer software and typing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong active listening skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and concerns
  • Empathy and interpersonal sensitivity, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Certification in Financial Service Auditor or related field (an asset)

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with CRM software and customer relationship management

  • Basic software skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Typing skills of 40 wpm or higher
  • Experience in a call center or customer service environment, with a focus on resolving customer complaints and issues
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and systems, including ERP and EMR
