Job Summary

We're seeking experienced and customer-oriented service representatives to join our remote call center team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll act as a liaison between our customers and our company, providing product and service information, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring excellent service standards. If you're passionate about helping others, have excellent communication skills, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing large amounts of incoming calls in a distraction-free workspace
  • Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Building sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the time limits
  • Keeping records of customer interactions
  • Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Going the extra mile to engage customers
  • Frequent overtime may be required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
  • A track record of achieving expectations
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • High school degree

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a call center environment, particularly in the utility industry
  • Fluency in Spanish (although not required, it's a valuable skill)
  • Experience working with CRM systems and practices
