Job Summary
We're seeking experienced and customer-oriented service representatives to join our remote call center team. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll act as a liaison between our customers and our company, providing product and service information, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring excellent service standards. Responsibilities
As a Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing large amounts of incoming calls in a distraction-free workspace
- Identifying and assessing customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
- Building sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Providing accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Handling customer complaints, providing appropriate solutions, and alternatives within the time limits
- Keeping records of customer interactions
- Following communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
- Going the extra mile to engage customers
- Frequent overtime may be required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- A track record of achieving expectations
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- High school degree
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Experience working in a call center environment, particularly in the utility industry
- Fluency in Spanish (although not required, it's a valuable skill)
- Experience working with CRM systems and practices
