Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and promoting arenaflex products and services. You'll work closely with our store management team to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and promoting arenaflex products and services

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships, recognizing regular customers and learning their preferences
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the fuel pumps, restrooms, and other areas
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and performing inventory counts
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including setting up displays and maintaining store signage
  • Work collaboratively with the store management team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and customer service

Technical Expertise

* Knowledgeable about arenaflex products and services, including fuel prices, promotions, and loyalty programs

  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and other retail technology
  • Ability to operate a cash register, handle cash, and process credit card transactions
  • Knowledge of fuel inventory controls, including monitoring fuel levels and performing preventative maintenance checks

Communication Skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management

  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Strong listening skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and preferences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the store management team, including reporting incidents and providing feedback

Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in the retail or convenience store industry preferred

  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and stock cases of beverages and petroleum products that can weigh up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
