Tour Manager-Driver
The Tour Manager is a dynamic, energetic, and motivating leader to inform and educate consumers on our client’s product and/or services. This is a full-time position for the duration of the tour and requires 100% travel. The Tour Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the team and event site to ensure flawless execution and engage with participants through various programming elements. Participants arrive onsite, answer a quick survey on a tablet at the registration station and begin their journey through the Air National Guard experience. The Tour Manager will be responsible for leading a mobile marketing tour including managing tour staff, potentially driving the promotional vehicle, and acting as a brand educator/spokesperson.
Responsibilities
- Weekly coordination with Marketing Werks, media and onsite event contacts, temp staff, recruiters/volunteers, technology vendors, etc.
- Managing all onsite activities for setup through event activation and teardown Ensuring proper storage and maintenance of all event site elements Thorough weekly event recaps, that include online written reports with event highlights, key learnings, photos, etc. Booking crew hotels and updating online database with hotel information Managing premium distribution and reporting weekly inventory
- Training and managing on-site local temp staff, and signing staff timesheets at completion of event Setting up and maintaining gaming elements and communicating with technology vendor to troubleshoot through issues
- Tracking corporate credit card charges and submitting expense reports, and reviewing Crew Member expense reports
- Shipping weekly crew packs that include photo and video memory cards, crew timesheets and expense reports
- Serving as the media spokesperson for all in-studio and event interview opportunities including broadcast, radio and print
- Collaborating with recruiters and managing execution of media appearances at television and radio stations
Qualifications
- Two years promotional/marketing experience in a management position
- Being tech savvy a plus
- Media Spokesperson experience a plus
- Must be: Professional, organized and outgoing
- Communicative with internal Marketing staff
- Able to get along with other crew members
- Lead and motivate a team Successful at resolving conflict
- Flexible and able to adapt well to challenging situations
- Available to travel continuously throughout the duration of tour (22 weeks average)
- Connect and interact with event attendees and engage a crowd
- Experienced emcee
- Able to lift up to 50+ lbs with the physical attributes to complete an event site setup
