As part of our expansion plans as a growing, global organization, Costa Rica was chosen to open a Shared Services Center, which started operations in December 2020. While our Costa Rica business office is based in the beautiful and sunny province of Heredia, at a convenient We Work building with wonderful co-working space, most of our global team members in Costa Rica are able to work exclusively from home.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth by proactively developing and converting opportunities through inbound leads, strategic prospecting, social selling, and disciplined pipeline management. This role focuses on building long-term, high-value partnerships by understanding customer needs and delivering tailored uniform solutions across key industries. This position is accountable for consistently achieving and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs, including revenue, gross profit, and sales targets. The Sales Account Executive is expected to take an assertive, results-oriented approach to business development, actively identifying new opportunities, expanding market presence, and accelerating deal velocity. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the uniform industry, UA’s product offerings, and the markets we serve, along with a commitment to continuous learning and strategic selling.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Drive revenue by converting inbound leads into closed business through consultative selling, timely follow-up, and strategic engagement across channels (calls, email, social, events).
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by understanding their business needs, positioning tailored solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor to drive retention and expansion.
- Own and manage a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting, consistent activity, and progression of opportunities through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Identify and execute opportunities to expand by increasing wallet share through cross-selling, upselling, and program enhancements.
- Partner with internal teams (operations, marketing, customer experience) to ensure seamless onboarding, execution, and high client satisfaction.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer buying behaviors, and competitive offerings to effectively position solutions and influence decision-making.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required for this position. Must demonstrate the ability to read, speak, and write in English.
- This role requires flexibility to support U.S. business hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime based on business needs.
- Prior experience working in a remote environment.
- Quiet, private, distraction-free home workspace with no conflicting responsibilities during scheduled shifts.
- Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps upload/download.
- Bachelor's degree in general business, marketing, business administration or 4 years equivalent experience.
- Consultative selling with ability to close sales.
- Strong sales aptitude.
- Relevant B2B telephone sales experience with a strong track record of achievement.
- Experience in establishing rapport and building relationships in a sales environment.
- Experience using MS Office.
- Knowledge of CRM – specifically SalesForce.com
