Responsibilities

As an experienced Substitute Teacher with arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Teach a variety of subjects, including Math, Science, English, ELA, History, Social Studies, PE, Music, Art, Drama, and Theater Studies
• Work with students of different ages and abilities, from Kindergarten to High School
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, tailored to meet the needs of each class
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting social-emotional growth and academic achievement
• Collaborate with school staff, including teachers, administrators, and support personnel, to ensure a seamless educational experience
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an experienced Substitute Teacher with arenaflex, you'll need:

• An Associate or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
• Three professional references, with one from a previous direct supervisor
• NJ Substitute Credential
• Background check & TB risk assessment (we'll cover the cost of this!)
• Full COVID-19 vaccination
• A passion for education and putting students first
• An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
