Responsibilities
As a Telechat Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling incoming customer inquiries via phone and online chat in a timely manner
- Providing accurate information regarding products and services to customers
- Addressing and resolving customer complaints and issues with professionalism and empathy
- Documenting customer interactions and maintaining detailed records of inquiries and resolutions
- Following up with customers to ensure their inquiries were resolved satisfactorily
- Collaborating with team members to share information and enhance service delivery
- Participating in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in customer service is a plus
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a telechat or call center environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional tone
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computers and various software applications, including chat systems
- A positive attitude and a strong desire to help customers find solutions
