Experienced Customer Service Representative – Remote Call Center

Our remote call center team is a critical part of our operations, and we are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Answering high-volume customer calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner
- Processing new patient enrollments, handling medication requests, and entering top-off orders for handling
- Investigating missing medication data, deciphering clinical truncations (SIG codes), and resolving information passage-related exceptions
- Handling correspondence with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders, and making outbound calls to resolve issues
- Settling on phone decisions to support plans and others to gather data, gain approval, or resolve issues
- Providing support to pharmacists, both in-office and at other locations, and recognizing and reporting issues to senior-level staff as necessary
- Acquiring a dynamic professional license or certification within the first 90 days and maintaining a current license or certification
Essential Capabilities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Essential level computer skills, including starting and closing a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and accessing data online
- Basic web browser skills, including opening a program, composing in URLs in the right field, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online
- Moderate level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, and organizing reports
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Capabilities
While not required, the following skills and experiences are preferred:
- At least 2 years of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment
- At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a declaration/enrollment by state as conceded by the State board for Pharmacy or widely recognized certification agency
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessing customer satisfaction
- Moderate to advanced level keyboarding skills, including typing at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, and designing reports
- Familiarity with Spanish and English
