Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Pennsylvania. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. You will be the primary point of contact for patients, answering their questions, resolving their concerns, and ensuring that their medication orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy
- Coordinate and process new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits
- Translate and enter new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
- Communicate and collect copay amounts from patients
- Obtain authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers
- Work with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders that have accounts receivable or clinical issues
- Provide compassionate and genuine care to patients and customers
Requirements
* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
- One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
- One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
- Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
