The Role

As an Online Chat Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our company, interacting with customers in real-time to provide assistance, answer questions, and resolve issues. You'll be working from the comfort of your own home, using our cutting-edge online chat software to engage with customers and provide exceptional support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and escalating issues to the Online Chat Manager when necessary
  • Creating relationships with new customers to better understand and meet their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
  • Promoting interest in client products and services
  • Consistently achieving established standards of the position
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work well both independently and within the context of a larger team-oriented environment
  • PC keyboarding and internet experience needed
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal
  • Upbeat, positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
  • Ability to compose professional emails (a plus)
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Basic technical skills (able to navigate through smartphone and computer applications)
  • Upbeat, positive, kind, and empathetic personality
