Inside Sales Associate – Municipal Government

Location: Coatesville, PA (Onsite) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00–5:00 or 8:30–5:30 Compensation: Base salary + monthly commission

This role is for someone who wants to build relationships, drive results, and take ownership of their work in a fast-paced, team-oriented sales environment.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

This is an active inside sales role where you’ll balance new business development, customer support, and deal execution.

You will:

  • Proactively reach out to municipal and government customers to generate new opportunities
  • Respond quickly and thoughtfully to inbound inquiries and quote requests
  • Follow up on open quotes and guide them through to completion
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline using CRM tools
  • Understand customer needs and recommend the right solutions
  • Own the full sales process from initial contact through order fulfillment
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with customers and colleagues

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • A mix of outbound outreach and inbound customer engagement
  • Managing and advancing multiple quotes and opportunities
  • Problem-solving with customers to find the right solution
  • Coordinating internally to keep orders moving
  • Keeping your pipeline organized and up to date

Requirements

What You Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2–3 years of professional work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)

Preferred Experience

  • Inside B2B sales experience
  • CRM experience (NetSuite a plus)
  • Familiarity with government or municipal customers
  • First responder or military background
