Job title: Adjunct Faculty - EMS Program Company: Black Hawk College Job description: General Information & Responsibilities Black Hawk College seeks a part-time/ adjunct Emergency Medical Services (EMS) instructor. Description of Duties Faculty member is expected to encourage learning by:

• Developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the student's educational experience
• Developing, securing, preparing, and maintaining the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material
• Evaluating learner performance, providing feedback, and maintaining adequate records of lab activities and skill competencies
• Participating in activities that promote Blackhawk College EMS education, including student recruiting, program marketing events, and others as appropriate.

Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in an appropriate medical or allied health education; Master's degree preferred. Must have a current Illinois license as an EMT, EMT-I, A-EMT, Paramedic, or Pre-hospital RN. A minimum of two years' experience in EMS or emergency care; and two years' of documented teaching experience. Must possess demonstrated oral English Proficiency for classroom instruction.
