Job Summary

As a Customer Service/Sales Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for providing fast, friendly service to our customers, learning about our products, and providing information to customers to sell an entire project. You'll work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments to ensure that our customers receive the best possible experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting, qualifying, recommending, and closing every customer in your department
  • Learning about products using our tools and providing information to customers
  • Maintaining the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Providing a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards
  • Working in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
  • Meeting or exceeding sales and customer service goals and objectives
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve sales and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities

* Provide fast, friendly service to customers, learning about their needs and providing assistance

  • Learn about products using our tools and provide information to customers to sell an entire project
  • Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, ensuring they are clean, shop-able, and safe
  • Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards
  • Work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
  • Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals and objectives

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required

  • 1-2 years of sales and customer service experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales and customer service goals and objectives
  • Ability to learn about products and provide information to customers
  • Ability to work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments
  • Ability to provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-3 years of sales and customer service experience in a retail environment

  • Experience working in a department store or home improvement store
  • Knowledge of building materials, hardware, and other products sold in our stores
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales and customer service goals and objectives
  • Ability to learn about products and provide information to customers
  • Ability to work in cooperation with your Department Supervisor and other associates in your department as well as other departments

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
