Job title: School Technology Support Technician Company: Fairbanks North Star Borough School District Job description: Note: Unless otherwise stated, all vacancies with a specific closing date close at 9:00 PM Alaska time. Job Summary: The school technology support technician provides school level technology support for designated schools. This position also works periodically at the district?s technology support center answering phones, and e-mails, and providing customer service to walk-ins. Serves as a liaison between school staff and technology resources within the District. Collaborates with instructional and library media staff to support building level technology needs. Hourly Rate: Grade 9, Step 1: $24.40 Work Day: 7.5 hours Work Year: 12 months Bargaining Unit: Education Support Staff Association (ESSA) Job Qualifications/Requirements (please review job description for qualifications and duties of the position):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technology support or related experience.
• Experience with desktop operating systems, including Mac OS and MS Windows.
• Must have an understanding of and the ability to maintain confidentiality of staff and student information.
• A valid Alaska driver?s license and use of personal vehicle. Must be able to gain access to military installations.
