Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Part-Time Customer Support Representative to join our remote team. As a Customer Support Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing friendly and efficient assistance with their travel needs. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all interactions

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize our modernized retail location framework to manage customer transactions, including ticket sales, baggage handling, and freight services
  • Process payments, make change, and balance daily transactions
  • Inspect and verify customer baggage and freight
  • Answer phone calls to provide information, page customers, resolve issues, and assist with general inquiries
  • Manage customer exchanges to ensure efficient and productive boarding processes
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, fares, and reservations
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the company
  • Write anomaly and complaint reports as necessary
  • Perform other work duties as directed by supervisors

Information, Abilities, and Competencies

* Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the needs of the job

  • Willingness to learn and understand tagging procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to complete the Customer Support Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period
  • Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis
  • Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve fast turnaround of aircraft
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to convey information and instructions verbally or through radio equipment
