Human Resource Generalist
Already Autism Health is looking to hire a Human Resource Generalist to manage a variety of HR functions and initiatives to support the organization’s goals and objectives. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and management on HR-related matters, promotes a positive workplace culture, and ensures compliance with company policies and labor regulations
What you will be expected to do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees on human resources issues.
- Support management in implementing performance management processes.
- Address employee concerns and complaints, mediating conflicts when necessary.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Participate in the recruitment process, to include job posting, and onboarding.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including labor standards and workplace safety.
- Assist in developing, updating, and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct audits and investigations as necessary.
- Maintain accurate HR records and employee files, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics to inform management decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive organizational change initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement and retention strategies through culture-building activities.
- Maintain the office technology systems for tech support service providers and software and hardware vendors
- Understanding of compensation structures and benefits programs.
- Ability to analyze and manage payroll, benefits, and incentive programs
- Experience in assisting with change management initiatives.
- Skills in workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to diverse groups and stakeholders.
- Critical thinking skills to evaluate complex HR issues.
- Ability to recommend and implement effective solutions.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR generalist role, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with data analytics tools a plus.
