Job Summary

We are seeking an Effective Data Entry Assistant to join our remote team. As a key member of our administrative support team, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering customer and account data from source documents, compiling and verifying information, and reviewing data for deficiencies or errors. Key Responsibilities

* Enter customer and account data from source documents within time limits, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

  • Compile, verify, and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Utilize MS Office and data programs to perform tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with administrative duties, including email handling and calendar management
  • Experience using office equipment, such as scanners
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with data programs and software
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (at least 40 wpm)
  • Strong knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy
  • Confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

  • Familiarity with cloud-based software and tools
