If so, we want to hear from you! arenaflex is seeking an experienced Customer Sales Manager to join our Customer Business Team (CBT) in the Northeast region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for owning and executing the sales strategy for Kraft Heinz categories in the Northeast, with a focus on delivering revenue and share objectives.

Job Summary

As a Customer Sales Manager, you will be responsible for owning and executing the sales strategy for Kraft Heinz categories in the Northeast region. You will work closely with our Wholesale and retail teams to develop and implement sales plans that drive revenue and share growth. You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with customers, identifying business opportunities, and developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Effectively partner with customers to understand their business needs and develop sales strategies that meet those needs

  • Achieve New Item Authorization goals, Distribution goals, and Base Business Objectives: Revenue and Share Growth, Authorizations, Distribution, Optimal Shelving
  • Lead the implementation of Space Management Projects to optimize shelf space and drive sales growth
  • Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, Drive Period, and Selling Event while effectively implementing Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories
  • Work with Retail Team to effectively manage retail execution of all assigned category objectives
  • Maintain files and business documentation to thoroughly detail business transactions
  • Develop and execute sales plans that drive revenue and share growth
  • Build strong relationships with customers to identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies to achieve business objectives

Expected Experience and Required Skills

* Proven experience in customer management, account management, and/or retail sales management for a CPG company

  • Tested ability to own business process and Category management through a complex Sales position where you owned a desk of at least $18 million of business
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft and ability to learn and be proficient in arenaflex systems and different customer portals
  • Proven skills embodying a customer-first mentality for effective customer management and selling to achieve objectives
  • Trusted to work autonomously within a CBT framework to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities
  • Clear examples of exhibiting polished interpersonal skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with potential to negotiate and influence effectively
  • Tested proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and proprietary Sales systems such as IRI, SAP, etc.
  • Clear examples of exhibiting strong analytical skills; Has the ability and experience using syndicated and/or ambiguous data to develop comprehensive business plans by analyzing category and brand performance and influences customer to achieve category objectives.

Work Environment and Schedule

This position is considered a Field-based environment; role requires frequent travel to customer locations, stores, manufacturing facilities, etc. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

* Willingness to drive and/or travel as needed

  • Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule
  • Set up Food shows

  • New Hire Base Salary Range: $102,100.00 – $127,600.00
