Job Summary

The Customer Solutions Expert Lead & Verifications Specialist is a subject matter expert who acts as the first point of contact for escalated calls and requests, providing expert guidance and issue resolution. This role requires a strong understanding of arenaflex's systems, processes, and business protocols, as well as excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. As a leader, you will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and directing staff to drive results, while also identifying areas of opportunity for performance improvement and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

The Customer Solutions Expert Lead & Verifications Specialist will be responsible for:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for escalated calls and requests, providing expert guidance and issue resolution.
  • Assign work to associates, ensuring efficient call volume activity and management.
  • Maintain daily board updates, including metrics and messages.
  • Monitor and/or complete production, as applicable.
  • Manage payer, provider, and patient complaint resolution.
  • Work with supervisors and staff employees to drive efficient call volume activity and management.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to create efficient work plans and daily assignments.
  • Support cross-functional process improvement efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological and industry developments.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Promote staff reliability and encourage frequent communication among all staff members.
  • Respond to calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Be proficient in entering information into the CART system.
  • Develop and administer operational policy.
  • Act as a resource for Customer Service Representatives, providing guidance on process issues.
  • Monitor sensitive State Reports.
  • Develop and implement projects and spreadsheets across all operations.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, plus one year of experience in a CareCentrix Operations role.
  • Knowledge of basic spreadsheet, word processing, and data entry with speed and accuracy.
  • Expert knowledge of department systems and processes, arenaflex business protocols, and regulatory knowledge.
  • Ability to lead by example and demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Independent thought and critical thinking skills, with the ability to problem-solve difficult situations.
