Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers, and actively participating in the sales process from discovery to closing deals.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and delivering compelling presentations that effectively showcase our products or services' features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Understanding customer requirements and business challenges, and developing innovative solutions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to customers, addressing their questions, concerns, and objections during the pre-sales phase.
  • Preparing and delivering technical proposals, solution designs, and product specifications that meet customer requirements and align with industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with the product development and engineering teams to provide feedback on product enhancements, identify opportunities for improvement, and stay updated on the latest product releases and updates.
  • Conducting proof-of-concept (POC) activities to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of our solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and building trust.
  • Staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products or services against competitors.
  • Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and actively engage with potential customers.

Requirements

To succeed as a Customer Engineer at arenaflex, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience (Network/Security/Pre Sales Engineering) - must.
  • Strong technical background with Proven experience as Customer Engineer or in a pre-sales / technical sales role, preferably in the information security industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events as needed.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

arenaflex is committed to offering competitive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees. The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, relevant experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer, the annual base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $160,000 - $180,000 USD. In addition to a competitive salary, our packages include:
